Joc Pederson and Adrian Gonzalez had a post-holiday workout war
For many people, the holidays means a little time for rest and relaxation. Sleep late, eat good food, lounge and binge some Netflix. Right? It’s not necessarily a time for working out or keeping in shape.
But there is no rest for Los Angeles Dodgers center fielder Joc Pederson. It may be the holidays, and he may be on vacation in gorgeous Hawaii, but he’s not letting those things get in the way of his workout regimen.
Yooo @adrian_eltitan what you do today?

There are a few really marvelous things about this. First, in lieu of a medicine ball, he’s carrying a large rock through the waist-deep water. That’s some quality improvisation right there. And second, he calls out his Dodgers teammate Adrian Gonzalez in the caption of that Instagram video!
Of course, Gonzalez had to respond. (A comment like that just cannot stand on its own.) Here’s his first response.
@yungjoc650 Not run on the water in Hawaii, that is for sure. I like how you are working out on vacation though. #dodgersnodaysoff @Dodgers

But Gonzalez wasn’t done. Pederson isn’t the only Dodger who can work out during the holidays, you know.

There are #NoDaysOff for Gonzalez either, as he attacks the stair climber! Can’t let the young whippersnapper think that other Dodgers aren’t working hard during the break, right?
It appears that brief workout war between Joc Pederson and Adrian Gonzalez is over (for now). Though Pederson did post this Instagram video a few hours after Gonzalez’s stair climbing post went live.
think I might stick to baseball…????

Yeah, it doesn’t look like Pederson’s going to be joining the PGA Tour anytime soon. Stick to baseball and working out, buddy.
