Update: The Packers are still deciding Finley's future with the team, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Recommendation: Finley's $8.75 million cap hit for 2013 would be a hefty price for a player who is coming off a so-so year, but some in the organization, including GM Ted Thompson, were impressed by the second half of Finley's 2012 campaign and still think he can improve and be an asset. The Packers will have a number of options at their disposal, including an attempt at re-working Finley's deal, a trade, or just straight up releasing him, so expect them to do their due diligence. However, Finley is due a $3 million roster bonus Mar. 27, so it's likely that a decision will be reached before then.
