Greg Jennings expressed his thanks to Green Bay Packers fans in a full-page ad Wednesday in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
The longtime Packers wide receiver signed a five-year, $47.5 million contract with the rival Minnesota Vikings last week.
"It has been seven years since I was first blessed with the opportunity to be a part of such a wonderful organization and community," Jennings said. "I want to take this time to thank each and every one of you for opening your arms and hearts to my family and me, and for making Green Bay an easy place to love and call home."
Jennings, 29, was limited to eight games during the regular season in 2012 because of a torn abdominal muscle.
After seven seasons with the Packers, Jennings ranked among the top-10 receivers in franchise history in catches, receiving yards and touchdown catches.
