Goon: Last of the Enforcers hits theatres in Canada beginning Friday (summer time for the U.S.). The sequel to the 2011 film premiered last week in Toronto and our very own Greg Wyshynski had a chance to sit down with writer/director Jay Baruchel, who talked about why he wanted to make a sequel, the role of the fighter in hockey and Patrick Roy’s connection to the movie.

If you haven’t already, be sure to check out last week’s Puck Soup Podcast featuring Seann William Scott a.k.a. Doug Glatt, the star of the Goon films.
