Jarvis Jones diagnosed with concussion

The Steelers announced that linebacker Jarvis Jones has been diagnosed by team doctors to have had a concussion.

On Wednesday's injury report, Jones was listed with a head injury. Of course, listing "head" can come across as vague, which later led to the clarification.

According to the Steelers, Jones didn't report any symptoms to the team until Monday. He wasn't formally diagnosed with a concussion until Wednesday evening, after the first injury report went out.

Jones did not practice Wednesday.

He'll have to pass the NFL's concussion protocol and be cleared by an independent neurologist if he's to play this Sunday against the Ravens.
