LeBron James plans to play through a sore shoulder and be on the floor Saturday night for the Miami Heat in a game against Washington.
James sat out practice Friday with a bruised shoulder that was aggravated during a fall in Wednesday night's loss to Golden State.
He continues to receive treatment on the shoulder, which he was he said was numb for a while before the soreness set in. James crashed to the floor when he was fouled by Golden State's David Lee but continued to play and scored 31 points.
It's the same shoulder that James, who is averaging 25.5 points and 8.6 rebounds and nearly seven assists per game, injured earlier this season.
"It's a little banged up," James said, according to ESPN.com.
Heat guard Dwyane Wade (strained neck) also is expected to play Saturday night.
