The Jaguars waived place-kicker Brandon Coutu on Tuesday, one day after signing kicker Josh Scobee to a long-term deal.
Coutu played in the final regular-season game for the Buffalo Bills last season. He missed his only field-goal attempt.
The Jaguars signed Coutu in May, making him the team's kicker while they negotiated with Scobee.
The Jags signed Scobee to a four-year, $14 million deal Monday.
