The Jacksonville Jaguars signed first-year wide receiver Kerry Taylor and second-year tight end Danny Noble to the 53-man roster, the team announced Monday.
Taylor was signed from the Arizona Cardinals practice squad while Noble was promoted from the Jaguars' practice squad.
To make room for Taylor and Noble on the roster, the Jaguars waived tight end D.J. Williams and placed wide receiver Justin Blackmon on the reserve/suspended list by the NFL. Also, the team released safety Dwight Lowery from injured reserve.
Noble was signed to Jacksonville's practice squad Oct. 9. He was originally signed as a rookie free agent by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2012 out of Toledo. He played four games as a rookie before going on IR with a hamstring injury. He was waived Sept. 24.
Taylor, an undrafted free agent with the Green Bay Packers in 2011 out of Arizona State, played three games for the Arizona Cardinals this season. He had three catches for 40 yards against the Detroit Lions. He also had stints with the New England Patriots, San Francisco 49ers and Minnesota Vikings.
