Mike Brown had a big day receiving, but it wasn't enough to avoid a rough loss for the Jaguars at the hands of the Chargers, 24-6, at home.
Chad Henne completed 23 of 36 passes for 318 yards, no touchdown passes and one pick. Philip Rivers finished 22 for 26 with 285 yards passing, one touchdown and no interceptions for the Chargers.
Maurice Jones-Drew ran for 37 yards on nine attempts in addition to two receptions for 19 yards. Brown was a top performer, snagging five balls for 120 yards.
The Jacksonville defense gave up 158 yards rushing and 276 passing. They brought down Rivers for one sack.
Chargers running back Ryan Mathews was impressive, churning out 110 yards rushing and one touchdown. Wide receiver Eddie Royal also performed well with 69 receiving yards and one touchdown.
Next week, the Jaguars host the 49ers (4-2) while the Chargers head to Landover to face the Redskins (1-4).
