We’ve seen cleaner injury weeks, and we’ve seen messier weeks. Grab your clipboard and let’s go through the Week 6 walkthrough.

• Marcus Mariota (hamstring) did some work Thursday and Friday and has a chance to start this week. The tricky thing — Tennessee’s set for a Monday night game against the Colts. We’ll see what we learn with Saturday’s practice.

• Rob Kelley (ankle) isn’t going to play against the Niners, which sets up Samaje Perine for an extended share of work. With Washington off a bye, at home, and a 10-point favorite, this could be a choice spot. San Francisco has been decent against the run on a per-snap basis (3.6 YPC), but Perine makes sense as a volume play. The Niners are also playing their third straight road game, and their last two games went to overtime.

• Derek Carr (back) came off the injury report Friday and is cleared to start against the Chargers. Amari Cooper (knee) is also ready to go.

• Kevin Hogan did some good things in a Week 5 relief appearance, and the Browns have rewarded him — he’ll start at Houston.

• Although John Brown (quad) and J.J. Nelson (hamstring) probably aren’t 100 percent, the Cardinals took them both off the final injury report. They’ll play against Tampa Bay.

• Ty Montgomery (broken ribs) was able to practice this week and will likely play at Minnesota, though it’s hard to imagine him getting more work than Aaron Jones, who was terrific at Dallas. Jordy Nelson (back) is not on the injury report.

• Bilal Powell (calf) isn’t expected to dress for the Jets, but Matt Forte (toe) practice Friday and should go, which takes some steam away from Elijah McGuire.

• DeVante Parker (ankle) is unlikely to play at Atlanta. Jakeem Grant and Leonte Carroo will battle for his snaps.

• Rex Burkhead (ribs) is too risky a fantasy start, but he might be worth a bench stash. He’s been able to practice some this week and might play at the Jets. Rob Gronkowski (thigh) isn’t on the Week 6 injury report.

• Willie Snead (hamstring) had a limited week of practice but will likely play against Detroit. It would be his seasonal debut, so keep expectations in a reasonable place. I’d love to see Snead become fantasy-relevant again, but he’s not in my Top 40 this week.

• Sam Bradford (knee) remains week-to-week, and he’s been ruled out for Sunday’s home match against Green Bay. Case Keenum is the stand-in. Stefon Diggs (hamstring) is also out. Michael Floyd might get back into the mix as a Diggs replacement, though Laquon Treadwell is also around.

• With Tyler Eifert (back surgery) out for the year, Tyler Kroft might be worth a long-term hold in deeper formats. The Bengals are on a Week 6 bye.

• If Matt Bryant is your kicker, do a double-check on Sunday. He’s dealing with a sore back and was held out of two practices. WR Mohamed Sanu (hamstring) remains week-to-week; he won’t play against Miami.

• The Giants receiving crew was ravaged in the Week 5 loss to the Chargers; Odell Beckham and Brandon Marshall are out for the year, and Sterling Shepard (ankle) won’t go at Denver. WR Roger Lewis might have value later in the year, but it’s difficult to dial him up against the loaded Broncos secondary.

• Terrance West (calf) won’t play against Chicago, which pushes extra work to Javorius Allen and Alex Collins. Jeremy Maclin (shoulder) had a limited practice week but is expected to play.

• Although Travis Kelce is coming off a concussion, he’s through the protocol and not on the final injury report. Use him against Pittsburgh.

• Matthew Stafford (ankle/hamstring) had a good week of practice and is fully expected to play at New Orleans. Kenny Golladay (hamstring) might be able to play; we haven’t seen him since Week 3.

• Kenny Britt is iffy for the game at Houston, dealing with a balky knee and groin. He’s been so unreliable when on the field, I can’t endorse rostering or starting him. If you must use a Cleveland receiver, consider Ricardo Louis (10-135-0 the last two weeks).

• Jack Doyle (post-concussion) looks good for a Monday return against Tennessee. He had a full practice Friday. Andrew Luck (shoulder) remains week-to-week.

• The Chargers might be ready to unveil rookie WR Mike Williams, who’s coming back from a back injury. RB Branden Oliver (hamstring) had a full practice Friday.

• The Falcons welcome sack-master Vic Beasley (hamstring) back to action, just in time for Jay Cutler and the Dolphins. Rise up.
