The Cleveland Indians recalled catcher Yan Gomes and left-hander Scott Barnes from Class AAA Columbus and placed catcher Lou Marson back on the 15-day disabled list with right shoulder inflammation.
Marson's moved is retroactive to April 25, and he has been bothered by the shoulder periodically since spring training. He was also on the disabled list from April 9-24 with a cervical strain.
Gomes appeared in six games for the Indians earlier this season, hitting .211 with a triple and two home runs in 24 at-bats.
Barnes didn't make the Indians out of spring training, and was 2-0 with a 4.70 ERA in seven relief appearances for Columbus.
