Colts Beaten by Chargers, 19-9

The Colts were controlled by the Chargers, 19-9, in San Diego.

Andrew Luck finished 18 for 30 with 202 yards, no touchdowns and one pick. Philip Rivers ended up going 22 of 33 with 237 yards passing, one touchdown and no interceptions for the Chargers.

Trent Richardson gained 40 yards on 10 carries in addition to one reception for 13 yards. Reggie Wayne caught five passes for 88 yards.

The Indianapolis defense surrendered 147 yards rushing and 227 passing. They sacked Rivers two times.

Finally, Adam Vinatieri was perfect, making all three of his field goal attempts.

Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen was impressive, churning out 107 receiving yards and one touchdown. Running back Ryan Mathews also put together a noteworthy performance with 102 rushing yards.

The Colts host the Broncos (6-0) next week while the Chargers head to Jacksonville to face the Jaguars (0-6).
