Free agent outfielder Raul Ibanez agreed to a one-year, $2.75 million contract with the Seattle Mariners on Saturday night, according to the New York Post.
The deal also reportedly includes up to $1.25 million in incentives.
Ibanez, 40, batted .240 with 19 home runs and 62 RBI in 130 games this year for the New York Yankees. He also hit three homers in eight playoff games.
Ibanez is expected to start in left field for the Mariners when they face right-handed starting pitchers.
It is Ibanez's third stint with Seattle. He was drafted by the Mariners in the 36th round of the 1992 Major League Baseball Amateur Draft and played his first five big league seasons with the M's. He came back for a second stint from 2004 through 2008.
