[UPDATED] Hilton's Listing for Work-From-Home Jobs Is No Longer Available

Update, 4/25/2017: After great interest in the posting, it appears that the listing for work-from-home positions is no longer available on Hilton's career website.

But there are a few other places looking to hire work-from-home folks, including Amazon and Cigna.

Original, 4/24/17: Hilton has announced that they are hiring full-time remote employees in 29 states. The company is looking for reservation sales associates who will act as a contact for customers calling the hotel brand.

This is a 40-hour/week position, but schedules can be flexible as long as candidates can work between 8AM and 2AM Central Time. According to Hilton's website, employees must be able to:

  • Answer the telephone and greet prospective guests in a friendly manner to create a superior guest experience.

  • Listen to and acknowledge callers, to ensure understanding of inquiries, and to deliver personalized travel solutions.

  • Utilize solution-oriented sales skills to maximize revenue for our hotels and business partners worldwide.

  • Provide accurate information regarding availability, sales promotions, accommodation types, transportation to and from hotels, rates, etc.

Pay starts at $9 an hour, and along with the perk of working from the comfort of your home, employees also receive Hilton travel benefits that lets them and their friends and family book at all 13 Hilton brands at a discounted rate.

While this is a fully remote position, applicants must reside in one of the following 29 states to be eligible: Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming.
