TORONTO -- The NBA champion Heat continued their domination of the Toronto Raptors on Tuesday, as forward LeBron James scored 35 points to lead Miami to a 104-95 victory.

The Heat recorded its 12th consecutive victory over the Raptors. That equals Miami's longest active winning streak against an opponent. The Heat also has a 12-game run against the Charlotte Bobcats.

James also had eight assists and eight rebounds, and guard Dwyane Wade added 20 points for the Heat (3-2). Guard Ray Allen scored 14 points, and forward Shane Battier had eight for the winners.

Guard DeMar DeRozan led the Raptors with 21 points, while center Jonas Valanciunas had 18 points and nine rebounds. Forward Rudy Gay added 13 points and 10 rebounds, guard Kyle Lowry had 13 points, and guard Terrence Ross chipped in with 11.

The Raptors (2-2) trailed by four points entering the fourth quarter, but the Heat pushed the margin to 12 points with 9:56 to play when Wade made a 20-foot shot. James put in a layup on an assist from Wade two minutes later to increase the lead to 90-74.

James hit a 3-pointer to give him 30 points on the game and increase the Heat's advantage to 96-82.

The Raptors pulled back within six points, but James made a layup as part of a three-point play to give the Heat a nine-point lead with 1:44 to play. Allen's 3-pointer increased the margin to 12 points.

Miami took a two-point lead into the second half and increased it to 67-57 in the first five minutes of the third quarter after Battier made a 3-pointer. The Raptors battled back to tie the game at 71 with three minutes to play in the period after Gay scored five consecutive points. The Heat finished the quarter leading 78-74 after Wade's 19-foot jumper at the buzzer.

Mario Chalmers hit a 3-pointer as the second quarter ended to vault the Heat into a 52-50 halftime lead after the Raptors led throughout. Toronto's largest lead was 11 points.

NOTES: Heat C Chris Bosh, a former Raptor, did not play Tuesday after his wife, Adrienne, gave birth to a daughter earlier in the day, the couple's second child. ... The Heat and Raptors will meet again at Air Canada Centre on Nov. 29. The other two games between the teams this season are at Miami, Jan. 5 and March 31. ... The Raptors opened the regular season by facing four opponents that qualified for the playoffs in 2013 -- the Boston Celtics, Atlanta Hawks, Milwaukee Bucks and Miami -- and are in the process of facing eight playoff teams from last season in their first 10 games ... The Raptors will be in Charlotte to play the Bobcats on Wednesday, completing the second of three sets of back-to-back games in November. ... The Heat return home to play the Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday.
