It appears that Baltimore Ravens defensive tackle Haloti Ngata is going to be just fine.
Ravens coach John Harbaugh said Ngata did not suffer major knee damage in Super Bowl XLVII and should be set to go for training camp this summer.
Ngata had an MRI on Thursday. Initial reports were that the knee was sprained.
"Nothing serious with Haloti," Harbaugh said on the Ravens' website. "There are some things in there we'll just have to see. It won't be anything that should keep him out of training camp or anything like that."
Ngata, a big presence on the Ravens' defensive line, went down in the third quarter of the Ravens' 34-31 victory over San Francisco after 49ers center Alex Boone blocked him during Frank Gore's 6-yard touchdown run.
