According to multiple sources, Hamilton has placed head football coach Steve Belles on indefinite leave. Hamilton is currently in the midst of an investigation into alleged acts of hazing that took place from 2015-2017, in which six players have been arrested, and three have been officially charged with criminal offenses.

Steve Belles has coached Hamilton since 2006, during which time he led the Huskies to five state championships in eight trips to the title game.

ArizonaVarsity.com will have more on this situation as it develops.

The official announcement from the Chandler Unified School District says that Belles has bee "reassigned" and that "during the term of the reassignment, Belles will not be present on the Hamilton High School campus. The reassignment is indefinite in length and is not disciplinary."
