Lynn Burke - filling in for Coach Young - and Matt opened the show discussing the topic of some of the best individual performances that come to mind in Virginia High School Sports, on the heels of Russel Westbrook etching his name in the NBA record books with another triple-double.
Churchland's new Head Softball Coach, Matt Arrington, came on the program during the second segment to talk about the Lady Truckers and their strong 6-1 start.
Monacan's Megan Walker - the Gatorade National Girls Basketball Player of the Year - joined the show to talk about her accolades, the team's latest state title and playing in the McDonald's All-American Game. Walker has signed to play her College Basketball at Connecticut.
In the second hour of the show, a couple of baseball coaches came on with the spring sports scene in full swing. David Mitchell of Nansemond-Suffolk Academy and John Cole from Jamestown discussed how their teams are doing as well as the area baseball.
Coach Young called in from parts unknown to weigh on the topic of the day and close up another installment of the program.
