Eddie Lacy had a big night on the ground, leading the way to a solid win for the Packers against the Vikings, 44-31, at Mall of America Field at HHH Metrodome.
Aaron Rodgers accounted for two scores against the Vikings on 24 of 29 passing for 285 yards and no interceptions. In comparison, Christian Ponder went 14 of 21 with 145 yards passing, one touchdown (0 pass, 1 rush) and no interceptions for the Vikings.
Lacy was a standout player for the Packers, rushing for 94 yards on 29 attempts with a touchdown in addition to four receptions for 18 yards. Jordy Nelson was a weapon for the offense, catching seven passes for 123 yards with two touchdowns.
The Green Bay defense allowed 111 yards rushing and 132 passing. They got to Ponder for three sacks.
Finally, Mason Crosby was perfect, making all three of the field goals he attempted.
Vikings running back Adrian Peterson provided some spark with 60 yards rushing, 23 receiving and one touchdown. Tight end Kyle Rudolph had a good game as well with 51 receiving yards.
The Packers will play host to the Bears (4-3) next week while the Vikings head to Arlington to face off with the Cowboys (4-4).
