San Francisco 49ers running back Frank Gore was not happy with coach Jim Harbaugh after Sunday's 27-7 loss to the Indianapolis Colts at Candlestick Park.
Gore "had choice words for Harbaugh near the end of the game, as (he) was heading out to the field," tweeted SFGate.com's Kevin Lynch after the game.
It is not clear what was said or exactly what Gore was upset about.
Gore had 11 rushes for 82 yards and two catches for 21 yards, but had just four touches in the second half.
Quarterback Colin Kaepernick threw 27 passes on the day. Backup running backs Kendall Hunter and Anthony Dixon combined for only five carries. The offense had the ball less for than 24 minutes of the game.
It is the second straight week the 49ers' offense struggled, falling to the Seattle Seahawks 29-3 on Sept. 15. Gore had just nine carries for 16 yards in that game.
The 49ers (1-2) have a quick turnaround in their schedule as they travel to St. Louis to face the Rams on Thursday night.
