PGA TOUR: BMW Championship at Conway Farms Golf Course in Lake Forest, Ill., Sept 12-15.

LAST YEAR: Rory McIlroy broke out of a four-way tie for the lead with birdies on the ninth and 10 holes en route to a 4-under-par 67 that gave him a two-stroke victory over Lee Westwood and Phil Mickelson at Crooked Stick Golf Club in Carmel, Ind. McIlroy won for the third time in his a stretch of four tournaments, including the PGA Championship and the Deutsche Bank Championship, and maintained his lead in the FedEx Cup standings on his way to finishing second behind Brandt Snedeker in the year-long chase. The Irishman, who posted four rounds in the 60s, including an opening 64, became the first player since Tiger Woods in 2009 to win consecutive weeks on the PGA Tour, and he joined Woods and Jack Nicklaus as the only players to claim six victories on the circuit by the age of 23.

CHAMPIONS TOUR: Montreal Championship on the Rouville Course at Club de Golf Vallee du Richelieu in Sainte-Julie, Quebec, Canada, Friday through Sunday.

LAST YEAR: Mark Calcavecchia tied the course record by shooting 8-under-par 64 in the final round to win by four strokes over Brad Bryant on the Vercheres Course at Richelieu. It was his second victory on the Champions Tour after he won 13 times on the PGA Tour, including the 1989 Open Championship at Royal Troon. Calcavecchia, who recorded three rounds in the 60s, took control by carding five birdies in a span of six holes through No. 8 and then chipped in for an eagle on the 16th hole. Calcavecchia, whose other Champions Tour victory came in the 2011 Boeing Classic, won for the third time in Canada, having won the 1997 Greater Vancouver Open and 2005 Canadian Open on the PGA Tour.

LPGA TOUR: Evian Championship at Evian Resort Golf Club in Evian-les-Bains, France, Sept. 12-15. The tournament will be a major on the LPGA Tour for the first time.

TV: Thursday and Friday, 7:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. EDT on the Golf Channel; Saturday, 6:30-11:30 a.m. EDT on the Golf Channel; and Sunday, 8:30 a.m.-noon EDT, on the Golf Channel, and noon-1:30 p.m. EDT on NBC.

LAST YEAR: Inbee Park of South Korea fired a 6-under-par 66 in the final round to claim her second victory on the LPGA Tour by two strokes over Stacy Lewis and Australia's Karrie Webb. Park carded birdies on the last three holes to hold off Lewis, who posted a course-record 63 in round two and sank a 20-foot eagle putt on the final hole to finish with a 68 after being tied with Park for the 54-hole lead. Webb, who claimed the Evian title in 2006, pulled even with Park by making birdie on the 13th hole in the final round, but she could not keep up down the stretch while finishing with a 67. Park, whose first LPGA Tour victory came in the 2008 U.S. Women's Open, has claimed six victories this season, including three majors.
