New York Giants (5-9) Play Underdog to Detroit Lions (7-7)

The New York Giants shoot for their sixth win on the season when they go on the road to take on the Detroit Lions. For the third consecutive season, Victor Cruz looks to break the 1,000 yard receiving barrier. The game starts at 4:05 PM ET and can be seen on FOX. New York is holding on to a 5-9 overall record and 2-5 away record on the year. Detroit is a 9.5 point favorite and has a 7-7 overall record and 4-3 home record.

The Giants are coming off a 23-0 blowout loss against the Seahawks. Eli Manning went 18 for 31 for 156 yards through the air and five picks. In their previous outing, the Lions lost by a slender 18-16 margin versus the Ravens. Reggie Bush rushed for 86 yards on 17 carries and one touchdown. Another solid outing came from Calvin Johnson, who caught six passes for 98 yards.
