FRESNO, Calif. (AP) -- Paul Watson scored 16 points Saturday night, Allen Huddleston added 15, and Fresno State rolled over NAIA UC Merced 104-43.
Fresno State (7-6) shot 58.2 percent from the field compared with 25.4 percent for UC Merced (1-13) and the Bulldogs' bench outscored the Bobcats 53-43.
Tyler Johnson scored 14 points for the Bulldogs, Karachi Edo and Alex Davis scored 13 each, and Tanner Giddings scored 12 and grabbed 10 rebounds.
Fresno State out-rebounded the Bobcats 60-25.
The Bulldogs jumped to a 10-2 lead, ripped off an 11-1 run and led 52-30 at halftime. Fresno State shot 61.8 percent from the field (21 of 34) in the half compared with 32.3 percent (10 of 31) for UC Merced.
The Bulldogs led by 23 points after opening the second half with a 13-2 run and continued to pull away.
Drew Orr led UC Merced with 10 points.
