FRESNO, Calif. (AP) -- Allen Huddleston scored 14 points and grabbed seven rebounds to lead Fresno State to a 63-46 win over Cal Poly on Wednesday night.
Huddleston was 4 of 9 from the field and got help from Marvelle Harris, who had 12 points, Cezar Guerrero with 11, and Alex Davis and Paul Watson with 10 points apiece. The Bulldogs (3-1) outrebounded Cal Poly 45-28 and went 18 of 22 from the free-throw line.
The Mustangs (0-3) jumped to an early lead that held midway through the first half before Fresno State took control with a 12-2 run and carried a 31-19 advantage into the break. The Bulldogs continued to pull away in the second half.
Chris Eversley led Cal Poly with 14 points and seven rebounds, while David Nwaba added 11 points.
