Frasor signs with Rangers

Free-agent reliever Jason Frasor has signed a $1.5 million deal with the Texas Rangers, according to multiple reports.

The right-hander had spent most of his nine-year career with the Toronto Blue Jays, save for a two-month stint with the White Sox in 2011. Toronto reacquired him last winter.

Frasor, 34, has logged 522 innings with a 3.77 ERA, including a 4.12 ERA in 44 innings last season.

Frasor could fill some of void left when setup Mike Adams signed with the Philadelphia Phillies.
