Brewers closer Francisco Rodriguez blew a save opportunity Wednesday, surrendering one earned run on two hits and one walk in one inning while striking out one in his team's 3-2 loss to the Padres.

Rodriguez inherited a 2-1 lead in the ninth inning and immediately squandered it, serving up a leadoff home run to tie the game. He then put two runners on base with two outs before escaping the inning. He owns a 3.00 ERA and 68:14 K:BB ratio in 60 innings.
