- Sauber Formula One team announced on Wednesday that Brazil's Felipe Nasr will drive for them in 2015 joining fellow new recruit Marcus Ericsson.
The 22-year-old Nasr has been working as test and reserve driver for the Williams team this season while also participating in the second-tier GP2 series, in which he is currently lying second with four wins.
“It is a very important step in my career to sign with the Sauber F1 Team for the 2015 Formula One World Championship," said Nasr.
Current Sauber drivers Adrian Sutil and Esteban Guttierez will leave the team at the end of the season.
