Former Vanderbilt player JaBorian "Tip" McKenzie pleaded not guilty on Tuesday night to five charges in a rape case involving three other ex-teammates.
McKenzie, 18, waived his arraignment scheduled for Aug. 21 and is free on $50,000 bond, according to The Tennesseean.
McKenzie, Brandon Vandenburg, Brandon Eric Banks and Cory Batey were charged with five counts of aggravated rape and two counts of aggravated sexual battery on Aug. 9.
The four are accused of raping an unconscious 21-year-old woman in a Vanderbilt dormitory on June 23. They were dismissed from the football team on June 29, six days after the alleged incident.
Vandenburg and Batey remained in jail Wednesday on a $350,000 bond. Banks posted $250,000 bail on Monday afternoon, The Tennesseean reported.
