Florida State wide receiver Greg Dent was arrested and charged with sexual assault Sunday night, according to the Orlando Sentinel.
He is facing a second-degree felony charge, and university policy requires that he be suspended from team indefinitely.
"We are aware of the situation with Greg Dent," Seminoles coach Jimbo Fisher said Monday in a statement, according to CollegeFootballTalk.com. "He's suspended indefinitely from all team activities as we let the legal process run its course."
Dent, a senior, was held in Leon County (Fla.) Jail. The specific charge was sexual assault on a person over the age of 12.
Dent had 27 catches for 355 yards last year.
