Quarterback Tyler Murphy, who started six games for Florida this past season, will transfer from Florida, the school confirmed Sunday.
Murphy graduated from Florida on Saturday. That means he can transfer to another FBS school without having to sit out a season.
Murphy became the Gators' starting quarterback after Jeff Driskel was lost for the season when he suffered a broken leg in the third game.
In seven games in 2013, Murphy threw for 1,216 yards, six touchdowns and five interceptions while also rushing for three touchdowns.
