SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) -- Brett Comer scored 14 points, Julian DeBose added 12, and Florida Gulf Coast pulled away from South Dakota State 71-58 on Sunday. Bernard Thompson scored 11 points, including three 3-pointers, and Marc-Eddy Norelia grabbed 10 rebounds for the Eagles (6-1). Deondre Parks led South Dakota State (2-3) with 18 points and Cody Larson scored 14 and grabbed 10 rebounds. The lead flip-flopped seven times until South Dakota State pulled ahead 24-19 after a 3-pointer by Parks. The Eagles rallied and the lead traded hands three more times until FGCU's Nate Hicks tied it at 31 at halftime with a free throw. Parks scored 10 points in the half. FGCU used a 12-2 run to pull ahead 43-33 in the second half. A 3 by Comer sparked a 9-2 run and the Eagles pulled away 52-37, outscoring the Jackrabbits 40-27 in the half.
