University of Florida offensive coordinator Brent Pease and offensive line coach Tim Davis were fired Sunday, according to multiple reports.
CBS Sports reported in recent weeks that Pease and Davis would be let go as the Gators try to solve their offensive woes. It also reported there was friction between the two assistant coaches.
Athletic director Jeremy Foley said Saturday that head coach Will Muschamp will be retained but other changes were coming.
Florida ended the season on a seven-game losing skid, capped by Saturday's 37-7 loss to visiting Florida State at home. The Gators' 4-8 finish is their worst since 1979.
Florida finished last in the SEC in total offense (4.79 yards per play) this season.
