The Latest: Class of 2019 wide receiver John Dunmore recently debuted in the Rivals.com rankings as a four-star prospect and after an excellent start to the camp season, it’s not just the rankings evaluators that are paying attention. Dunmore has started to collect offers, with Florida among the most notable schools to join his list to date. Rivals.com caught up with Dunmore at the Miami stop of the Rivals 3-Stripe Camp Series presented by adidas to talk about the Gators.

In His Words: “When I first got the offerI was shocked. It just hit me and I just have to stay humble and keep grinding and do well with my grades. It’s a great school. Marco Wilson, Josh Hammond, Chris Henderson, they all tell me great things about the school so I’m looking forward to taking a tour and seeing campus. I’ll be at their spring game this year. I went up my freshman year for a camp but I’m ready to go back as a recruit and see what it’s like. I want to see how the quarterbacks get the ball to the receivers, how the receivers run their routes how they get open, create space. That’s basically it. I’m expecting them to have a better year this year. They’re going to do great things. I know they are.”

On other visits: “I’m trying to visit Syracuse and West Virginia but I haven’t set anything up yet.”

Rivals Reaction: Dunmore is likely to be a national level recruit once schools get a chance to see him in person either during the spring evaluation period or at on-campus events this summer. Florida is very smart to jump in the mix early and clearly has the upper hand on the competition. Getting him on campus next is key and if the Gators offense shines in the Spring Game it could be another positive in their corner.
