Flames give 9-year-old Fionn Daly the day of his life

Fionn Daly had the day of his life Monday courtesy of the Calgary Flames.

The 9-year-old got the chance to hang out with his hockey heroes after the Flames signed him to a one-day contract as part of the Make-A-Wish program in Southern Alberta. He was joined by his brothers Rhys, 7, and Hugo, 5.

Daly, a right-handed defenceman for the Calgary Venom of the Calgary Sledge Hockey Association, got the full hockey experience. He had a press conference where he was introduced by GM Brad Treliving, got his own stall in the dressing room and hit the ice for a practice session.

It was a great moment for a young fan in need and made for some wonderful scenes:
