FIU defeats Div. II Warren Wilson 93-56

KENNESAW, Ga. (AP) -- Rakeem Buckles scored a career-high 26 points and led four other Florida International players in double-figures to defeat Division II school Warren Wilson 93-56 on Tuesday.

Buckles shot 9 of 11 from the field and 3 of 3 from behind the arc. Tymell Murphy finished with a double-double, scoring 16 points with 11 rebounds and shooting 7 of 10 from the field for the Golden Panthers (2-2).

FIU led 40-31 at halftime and outscored the Owls 53-25 in the second half.

Rashad Ali scored 26 points and grabbed a team-high six rebounds for Warren Wilson (2-4). The Owls continued to struggle offensively for the second day in a row, shooting 39.3 percent from the field (22 of 56) and 15.4 percent from behind the arc (2 of 13).

The Owls lost Monday to Kennesaw State, 92-48.
