Is FGCU's Brandon Goodwin getting rejected by rim the lowlight of the tournament so far?

Florida Gulf Coast’s Brandon Goodwin could’ve delivered the highlight of this young NCAA tournament and energized his team with a monster dunk midway through the second half of the Eagles’ first-round matchup with third-seeded Florida State.

Instead, it went another direction.

(Enter your Dunk City joke here; I’m not that cold.)

Props to the 6-foot-2 guard for even attempting to go up and over 6-10 FSU forward Jonathan Isaac, but unfortunately he came up juuuuuust a bit short and got denied by the rim.

Florida Gulf Coast had hopes of going on another Cinderella tournament run a la its 2013 run when the Eagles advanced to the Sweet 16 as a No. 15 seed. There was no magic this time though as the Atlantic Sun champs fell to the Seminoles, 86-80, on Thursday.
