Eddie Royal is back with Jay Cutler. Should you pick him up late in your draft?

Chicago Bears receiver Eddie Royal is back with quarterback Jay Cutler. This is relevant because back in the 2008 season, Royal put up a whopping 91 catches with 980 yards. Cutler would head to Chicago in 2009, so this was their only season together.

The Bears are really thin at receiver these days. Brandon Marshall is with the New York Jets, rookie receiver Kevin White could miss the entire season due to injury, and even Alshon Jeffery and Marquess Wilson are both on the mend with minor leg injuries. To be clear, they will be ready to start the season.

Royal figures to be in the slot quite a bit, which should really help his target total. The Bears were in the middle of the pack for sacks allowed last season and Cutler could certainly use a reliable hot-route receiver like Royal.

Fantasy impact: If you're in a PPR league, you should be looking at Royal as a solid WR4 with big-time upside. He's more of a WR5 in standard leagues.
