Update: With the Hornets playing in two back-to-back contests this past week, Gordon will rest his knee and lower back by sitting Saturday against the Timberwolves, WolvesRadio reports.
Recommendation: Gordon continues to work his knee back to full strength but has yet to play in back-to-back games this season since returning from knee surgery. As his playing time begins to slowly creep back towards his career average of 35.3 minutes, Gordon's production is staring to increase as well. Gordon is averaging 15.5 points, 1.5 steals and 2.0 treys per game over the Hornets' last five contests. While he may never again be a consistent 35-minute-man, he should be a reliable source of threes, points and steals for as long as he can stay healthy. Roger Mason will start in his place, with Austin Rivers also available for playing time off the bench.
