While New England is expected to create a whirlwind of destruction during the next few weeks with Tom Brady back, the list of players who have been limited in practice is getting longer. This is creating a feeding frenzy for fantasy football players who may be scrambling to grab other players in place of those who may sit out on Sunday.

Some of the well-known fantasy league stars like wide receiver Julian Edelman and tight ends Rob Gronkowski and Martellus Bennett may leave a huge gap in points for the leagues. Although they are listed as questionable, they are likely to play. Just don’t expect a ton of fantasy points. These guys get on the field week after week for the entertainment of fans, so lighten up on them when it comes to fantasy football.
The final total for the Patriots’ injury report is fifteen players. So far this season, this has been the longest injury report for New England. As strong as New England may be with Brady at the helm, many of the key players Brady utilizes are on the injury report.
During Wednesday’s practice Brandon Bolden (knee), Jonathan Freeny (shoulder) and Shaq Mason were all missing from the practice field. Mason was missing for a private matter unrelated to an injury. Along with those three, there are an additional twelve players that are listed under limited participation.
Still at the top of the list are Julian Edelman (foot), Jimmy Garoppolo (shoulder) and Rob Gronkowski (hamstring). They are all listed as questionable to suit up on Sunday.
