Enes Kanter came off the bench and scored 24 points on 11-13 shooting, in an efficient offensive performance. Other key performers for Utah were Gordon Hayward with 16 points and 6 rebounds, Trey Burke with 12 points and 8 assists, and Derrick Favors with 11 points and 14 rebounds. On 8-14 shooting, including 6-10 from behind the arc, Trevor Ariza put up 23 points for Washington in the loss. Marcin Gortat added 14 points and 11 rebounds, Bradley Beal finished with 14 points and 8 assists, and John Wall put up 13 points and 6 rebounds.
Washington (21-22) could not get back-to-back victories after defeating Phoenix on Friday.
