Beauty and the Beast crossed $1 billion at the box office earlier this month-something Emma Watson never actually imagined would happen, she told Access Hollywood's Scott Evans last night at The Circle's Tribeca Film Festival premiere. She also wasn't aware of the fan demand for a sequel ("I have not heard any of this! Really?!"), but rest assured, she in to play Belle again.

"I would LOVE to do a sequel," she said, staring directly into the camera as if talking to Disney. "Yes!" And she has just the idea you'd think the woman who'd embodied Hermione and Belle would have for its plot.

"I always thought Belle would become a teacher, and she would run the library in the castle and open it up to the village," Watson mused. "This was where I was going!"

Given the town's abhorrence to Belle reading in the original Beauty and the Beast, a movie about what happens when all the girls and women in town are literate-and how that challenges the patriarchy–could be quite interesting.
