Free agent wide receiver Braylon Edwards received a tryout with the Miami Dolphins on Sunday.
The workout showed Edwards is healthy, the Miami Herald reported, and indicated the team has serious interest in him.
Edwards had an injury-marred 2011 season with the 49ers, who landed him late in free agency on a one-year, incentive-laden contract. He started five games before suffering a knee injury and was released with 15 receptions for 181 yards and no touchdowns.
He has 341 catches in his eight-year career for 5,323 yards and 39 touchdowns.
