Eastern Washington beats Boston University 80-68

IRVINE, Calif. (AP) -- Drew Brandon scored 15 points, going 6 of 10 from the floor, and had 12 rebounds and seven assists to lead Eastern Washington to an 80-68 victory over Boston University on Friday night.

Tyler Harvey had a game-high 21 points, hitting five 3-pointers and was 7 of 13 from the field. Venky Jois chipped in with 20 points, eight rebounds and three assists. The Eagles (3-1) finished the game shooting 54 percent from the field and 57 percent from the line.

Eastern Washington led by five at the break. But a pair of 3-point jumpers by Harvey and Parker Kelly hitting 3 for 3 from the line all within four minutes midway through the second period helped the Eagles open up a comfortable 12-point lead.

Nathan Dieudonne led the Terriers (2-2) with 16 points, 12 rebounds and two assists. Maurice Watson Jr. had a team-high 18 points.
