The Eagles outlasted the Cardinals, 24-21, at home.
Nick Foles picked apart the Cardinals for three touchdowns on 21 of 34 passing for 237 yards and no interceptions. In comparison, Carson Palmer went 24 of 41 with 302 yards passing, three touchdowns, two picks and one fumble for the Cardinals.
LeSean McCoy was a standout player for the Eagles, rushing for 79 yards on 19 attempts in addition to five receptions for 36 yards. Zach Ertz was a top receiver, catching five balls for 68 yards with two touchdowns.
The Philadelphia defense was the major reason for the victory, giving up 90 yards rushing and 302 passing. They consistently put pressure on Palmer and the Cardinals offensive line, racking up five sacks.
Cardinals wide receiver Michael Floyd provided some spark with 99 receiving yards and one touchdown. Wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald also had a good game with 72 receiving yards and one touchdown.
The Eagles will play host to the Lions (7-5) next week while the Cardinals play against the Rams (5-6), also at home.
