Paul George had another quality performance for Indiana despite the loss, scoring 25 points on 8-16 shooting (2-6 on 3-point attempts), in addition to going 7-8 from the free throw line. He also recorded 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Lance Stephenson chipped in 13 points and 9 rebounds.
The Pacers dished out 13 assists versus 14 turnovers, a ratio of just .93. They are 2-1 on the season when committing more errors than assists in a game. The Heat, on the other hand, are undefeated (6-0) when forcing opponents beneath 1.00 in assist-to-turnover ratio.
This drops Indiana (20-5) to 1-1 against Miami on the year.
