The Miami Dolphins signed third round draft pick Dallas Thomas, the team announced Friday.
Thomas, an offensive lineman who can play guard and tackle, was taken 77th overall in the April draft.
He played tackle for two seasons before switching to left guard his senior year at Tennessee, earning second team All-America honors.
Thomas could be the Dolphins' new left guard this season. The South Florida Sun-Sentinel reported that he may back up at guard and tackle.
Thomas returned from shoulder surgery earlier this month.
