Right tackle Tyson Clabo will sign with the Miami Dolphins, his agent confirmed to ESPN, for a reported one-year contract.
Clabo was released by the Atlanta Falcons last week. In Miami, he joins an offensive line that lost left tackle Jake Long to the St. Louis Cardinals in free agency. Jonathan Martin performed solidly as a rookie in 2012 and is a candidate to take over for Long. While Clabo has played the left side in the past, he's considered a better fit at right tackle.
Clabo joined the Atlanta organization in 2005 when he signed with the Falcons' practice squad, and emerged as one of the better run-blocking right tackles in the NFL. He started all 101 games he appeared in for Atlanta, including all 16 regular-season games each of the past five seasons.
