Dolphins bolster offensive line, sign former Bear Louis

The Miami Dolphins signed former Chicago Bears offensive lineman Lance Louis, the team announced Wednesday.
The 6-foot-3, 320 Louis was a seventh-round draft pick in 2009. Last year, Louis started 11 games before a torn ACL on Nov. 25 ended his season.
"We are happy that Lance has joined our team," said Dolphins general manager Jeff Ireland. "He will be a great addition to the offensive line both on the field and in the meeting room."
Louis appeared in 41 games, making 28 starts at guard or tackle for the Bears. He was rated by as the 47th best offensive guard based on his 712 snaps last season.
