The Los Angeles Dodgers placed infielder/outfielder Jerry Hairston Jr. on the 15-day Disabled list and recalled infielder Justin Sellers from Class AAA Albuquerque, the team announced on Friday.
Hairston has a left hamstring injury. The move is backdated to May 7. He is hitting .315 in 19 games.
Sellers went 2-for-7 for the Isotopes. He hit .150 in 10 games for the Dodgers before being sent down a week ago to make room for outfielder Bobby Abreu, who was picked up off waivers from the Los Angeles Angels.
