Dodgers activate Kemp from DL

The Los Angeles Dodgers activated center fielder Matt Kemp from the 15-day disabled list Sunday.
Kemp was in the Dodgers' lineup batting sixth against the Washington Nationals.
He has been bothered by left shoulder inflammation after having offseason surgery. He is .254 with four home runs in 61 games.
The Dodgers optioned outfielder Scott Van Slyke to Class AAA Albuquerque. He was batting .241 with a .309 on-base percentage, six home runs and 14 RBI in 87 at-bats for the Dodgers.
